About Prestige Family Medicine
Dr. Shikha Shah, originally from India, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our medical practice. She began her medical journey at the prestigious Pravara Medical Institute in India, where she built a strong foundation for her lifelong commitment to healthcare. She later completed her residency training at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Shah’s clinical interests span a broad range of specialties, including obesity medicine, diabetes mellitus, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), behavioral medicine, and complex adolescent health. She has a particular focus on women’s health, which distinguishes her approach to patient care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shah enjoys a well-rounded and active lifestyle. She values time with her family, stays engaged in fitness, and enjoys cooking and creative pursuits such as singing and writing. She also loves spending time outdoors, especially hiking, often accompanied by her loyal canine companion.
With over 11 years of medical experience, Dr. Shah is passionate about both patient care and education. She is actively involved in training future healthcare professionals through an internal medicine program at St. Francis Hospital and in collaboration with Mercer University.
Dr. Shah is also deeply committed to community service. She serves on various boards and is an active member of the Rotary Club, participating in international medical missions that promote global healthcare and cultural exchange.
In her personal life, Dr. Shah is married to Dr. Hiren Shah, a respected local cardiologist. Together, they enjoy spending quality time with their two sons and traveling as a family.
Dr. Shah’s vision for her practice is to create a comprehensive, one-stop destination for family medicine that is accessible to all. Her certifications include acne treatment, weight loss management, ultrasound-guided pain management, IV nutrition therapy, Botox and dermal fillers, PDO threads, non-spinal joint and extremity injections, and obesity management—reflecting her commitment to holistic, patient-centered care.

Dr. Shah was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 1999 after completing medical school at Rural Medical College of Pravara Medical Trust in Loni, India. She then completed her internship and residency at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Shah has specialized training in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Diabetes management, Psychiatry, and the management of chronic conditions. She is also certified in medical weight management, acne treatment and contraceptive care.
